Tango del alma - Tango of the soul. Based in Wellington New Zealand, we attempt to follow the milonguero style of dance from the golden age of tango , between 1935 and 1952. The dance is small, simple and sensual with the emphasis on the embrace, connection with your partner and the music. It is a close embrace dance. Neville has been dancing tango for 11 years and has won the New Zealand Salon Tango Competition in 2006 and 2007 and the New Zealand Milonga Competition in 2007.
He is fluent in Hebrew.
He has been visiting Buenos Aires annually for the last 11 years and in the last five has spent half his time living in Buenos Aeries and represented New Zealand in the Tango Dance World Championship in 2007 and in 2008.
He has given workshops in Latvia and Israel and has been teaching private and group classes in New Zealand for about 7 years and has studied with:
