Great Barrier Island (Aotea) is 90 kms north east of Auckland. Travel to the island can be by sea or air.
It is imperative that you book well in advance of your trip.

Transport available on the island is varied and includes bikes, buses, shuttle services, taxis,
rental cars, vans and 4WDs. Please ensure that you book well in advance of your trip. It is best that you
