We were married in Durban on 3/9/1983 and have spent over 20 years together. |
| TRIP TO SOUTH ISLAND | |
| Magda and Elsabie arrived from South Africa
for 5 weeks. I managed to spend 2 weeks with them and the 4 of us did a
whizz round South Island. The scenery was quite spectacular with green
grass in most places. The Franz Joseph and Fox glaciers were a bit of a
let down as they were both receding and rather small. Fjordland was
beautiful with the Milford sound quite an eyeful. The Homer Tunnel was
dark & wet inside and the landscape changed rather dramatically from
one side to the other.
