General information
SCOUTS youth programmes are designed to educate
youth and develop their emotional and community
skills as they try new experiences. This teaches
the individual that they can succeed if they try,
while at the same time developing the person into
a citizen of New Zealand.
The Waikanae Scout group is run by volunteers.
Scouting New Zealand sets a sylabis to assist
your childs development. Rewards are offered when
acheivements are meet.

The Den
The Waikanae Scout Hall (The Den) is located
in the Russell Reserve, Ngaio Road Waikanae.
If you are interested in joining come along and
see what the Waikanae Scouting Group has to offer
your child.
Keas - 5-8 yrs, meet on Mondays 5.15pm - 6.15pm
Cubs - 8-10½ yrs, meet on Mondays 6.15pm - 7.15pm
Scouts - 10½-14 yrs, meet on Wednesday 7pm -
8pm
Venturers/Rovers - 14-26 yrs)
Our uniform consists of a bottle green polo shirt,
a red scarf and a green polar fleece vest.

or through the group leader.
New members

If you know anyone that may be interested, please
invite them along to a scouting session, or contact
one of the leaders.
COMMITTEE
The committee meets once a month on Wednesday @
