The Kapiti Thursday Walking Group is an informal group, who walk every week (wet or fine).

Walks are confined to the Kapiti Coast District, from Paekakariki in the south to Otaki in the north.

The schedule of walks is drawn up by individual walkers and others take part at their own risk [Walkers Guidelines].

The Kapiti Wandereers is an informal group, who walk every second Tuesday(wet or fine). We begin our walks by catching a train south to anywhere between Pukerua Bay and Wellington.
The Tuesday we go is the NON-National Superannuation day [the National Superannuation day is shown on many callanders!]

We catch either the 9:30am unit from Waikanae [9:35 from Paraparaumu], or if travelling right into Wellington the 9:00am unit from Waikanae [9:05 from Paraparaumu]. So that we can catch up with each other we board the second carriage.

After each walk one of the group 'volunteers' to lead the next walk. Details of the next walk will be given by email a few days beforehand. Register your interest by emailing the group and leaving your email address.
