Rights
Rights are available to amateur and professional companies on request. I am prepared to negotiate, however I usually charge a royalty fee of 10% of gross box office receipts. For one act plays presented together with plays by other authors the 10% is apportioned according to the number of plays. Rights are waived for amateur productions where the company producing the play does not receive box office income. (Eg in festival competitions).
Reading copies can be sent free by email. Requesters will need to provide full name, address, name of company and details of season. Also I will require some indication of the director's experience in the theatre.Contact
