Amateur radio station ZL1BLT operates maritime mobile from the yacht "Smile". Operation is primarily from the Wellington coastal area of New Zealand including the Marlborough Sounds. Primary bands of operation are the 80, 40, and 20 meter bands. Equipment consists of a Kenwood TS430S driving a 10M sloping wire. Mode of operation is mainly SSB with occasional CW activity.
